TASTY COMPETITION
The youth is our future. Education of youth in the spirit of patriotism, development and strengthening of respect for national culture, traditions and spiritual values is the primary task of everyone. The love and respect of young people for the Motherland, spiritual heritage and traditions contributes to the strengthening of friendly relations and cultural and spiritual ties with neighboring countries.
As everyone knows, there are about 1200 pilaf recipes in the world. The most important thing is the ability to cook everything correctly, and that is why in our country the preparation of pilaf is trusted only by real masters.
On April 21, the competition “Best Pilaf” was held in the Students’ Dormitory No. 2, which has become a good tradition. The students of the Branch, along with obtaining knowledge and skills in their specialty, decided to demonstrate their culinary skills and 6 teams competed in cooking pilaf. Each team prepared a dish according to their individual recipe.
The jury members had to evaluate not only the taste of the dishes, but also the cooking technique, the originality of the design, as well as the beautiful presentation.
Participants tried to show a regional peculiarity when preparing their dish. And although the main requirements of the jury were taste and external design, according to the results of the tasting, it became clear that each type of pilaf is good in its own way.
Abdikhalilov took the first place in the pilaf cooking duel. Ruziev Jasur and Isokov Muhammad Iso shared the second place. The third place was awarded to Abdilkhakov Yashnar, Burkhanov Davron and Abdullaev Nurdaulet. The winners were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.
Holding such competitions allows young people to appreciate and support national traditions and rituals, and also strengthens the team spirit.
