Round table “Happy New Year” Case study

In order to ensure the organization of New Year's holidays at a high level, in compliance with the approved action plan of the Branch for the implementation of 5 initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 23, 2020, the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​under the guidance of the teacher Bakhromova I.T. held an event in the academic group UEE-19-02 on the theme: “Happy New Year”.

In order to implement area 4 “Attracting youth to reading” of 5 initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and efficient work with youth, which forms a harmoniously developed personality, strengthening and expanding knowledge in subjects, the department runs a circle “Book lovers”, where contests of reciters and stage performances from excerpts from works of authors of world literature in English.

The event was aimed at a comprehensive study and application of a foreign language in cultural events. A presentation on the topic “Happy New Year” was prepared and provided examples of the traditions of celebrating the New Year in different countries of the world. The Branch students took part in the quiz. The students of the group, Jakhongir Makhamatkarimov and Angelina Shmakova, prepared an intellectual game “What? Where? When?" in which they demonstrated their knowledge and creativity.

Prepared questions, such as song and film excerpts, covered the theme of the event. The musical accompaniment inspired the students and gave a festive spirit to the event.

As a result of the quiz, the winning teams were determined and all participants received certificates and were awarded with gifts.

The implementation of 5 initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan contributes to the formation of a broad outlook of young people, helps them to become comprehensively developed, highly cultured and physically healthy individuals, in no way inferior to their peers around the world. The implementation of these ideas is the basis for the youth of the republic to be able to confidently build their future, become successful people and contribute to the development of their Motherland.
