CONGRATULATION

Dear colleagues and students!

From the bottom of my heart let me congratulate you on the 27th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and express you my best wishes.

Our Constitution, as a vivid example of the political and legal consciousness of the multinational people of Uzbekistan, serves as a solid foundation for building a democratic state and civil society, and for a country to gain a worthy place in the international arena.  We are witnesses and participants in the difficult and meanwhile glorious path that has been lasting over 27 years, confirming the vitality and high potential of our Basic Law.

Twenty-seven years is just a moment for history. Over this short period of time, our native Uzbekistan has demonstrated itself as an independent and sovereign state, has taken a worthy place in the world community, and has passed a truly enormous path of development. The Basic Law enshrined the guarantees of national independence, about which our people had dreamed for many years, of human rights and freedoms, the chosen path of development. The action strategy, developed on the basis of the Constitution, currently plays a crucial role in bringing the country to a new, innovative and industrial level of development.

As it has been noted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, respected Shavkat Miramonovich: “A constant dialogue with the people, solving urgent problems of people, satisfying their needs and requirements become the most significant criteria of our activity”.

Life proves that during the efficient implementation of large-scale reforms carried out in the Republic, the importance of these issues increases. It is not accidently that our great ancestor Sakhibkiran Amir Temur immortalized on the portal of the palace of Oksaroy the statement: “Justice is the basis of the state and the deeds of wise rulers”. This idea has not lost its relevance even nowadays. That is why a comprehensive study and understanding of the Basic Law, strict observance of its requirements is the duty of each of us - a citizen of Uzbekistan.

Dear students! You are the future of our state! Currently each of you should have a goal - to be a purposeful and energetic youth, with a strong civic stance, able to take responsibility for the fate and future of the Motherland, to direct all your knowledge and potential towards it. The leadership of our state pays a particular attention to the implementation of youth policy in our country; required conditions are created for obtaining good knowledge at the level of world standards. Your task is to enhance knowledge, actively participate in public life and be worthy citizens of our country.
