"The students of Gubkin university are the participants of the Republican Conference

Students of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent took an active part in the Republican scientific-technical and industrial scientific-practical conference on the topic: "Attracting investment is the basis for the transition of all areas of the oil and gas industry to the path of innovative development."

Karolina Sulitanofu, a student of URN 16-01  was awarded the third place in the nomination "Best Young Speaker".

The Republican scientific-technical and industrial scientific-practical conference on the topic: “Attracting investment is the basis for the transition of all areas of the oil and gas industry to the path of innovative development” brought together leaders, leading specialists, as well as young scientists and specialists with their mentors from “UZBEKNEFTEGAZ” JSC, “UZTRANSGAZ” JSC, “O'ZLITINEFTGAZ” JSC, “IGIRNIGM” JSC, Uz Scientific Research Institute of Oil and Gas Production. The conference was also attended by representatives of the Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan: general and inorganic chemistry, as well as chemistry and polymer physics, the Ministry of Innovation Development, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

Students from universities of the republic submitted their reports to experts: the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, Bukhara Engineering and Technology Institute, Samarkand State University, as well as students of Bukhara and Fergana professional colleges of the oil and gas industry.

The specialists with great attention listened to the speeches of the representatives of the Branch including the presentations “Study of the features of the formation of water-oil emulsions of the North Shurtan field” by J. Ilhamov, “Biological methods for combating hydrocarbon spills used in the conditions of Uzbekistan” – a students’ presentation made by K. Sulitanofu and D. Kurmakaeva (URN 16-01).

Having considered the "classical" methods for cleaning soils contaminated with oil and oil products, the authors proposed an innovative development - biological products-oil destructors, adapted to specific tasks and environmental conditions. As noted in the report, pilot industrial trials at oil production facilities demonstrated record speed and efficiency of oil destructors: the degree of purification reached 94 percent within 72 hours.

The student initiative is recognized as relevant and consistent with the format of a large-scale professional forum, the purpose of which is the exchange of the latest scientific and practical results of research by scientists and practitioners involved in the problems of the development of the oil and gas industry in areas, in particular, the rational development of oil and gas fields.
