Studying the basics of the Islamic religion
On May 2, 2019, an away practical lesson on the subject “Religious Studies” was held on the topic “The main sources of Islam”. The students of the URB-16-01 / 02, URG-16-01 / 02 group of 60 people took part in the practical lesson. The lesson was organized on the territory of the Hazrati Imam complex in the old part of the city of Tashkent.
This field practical lesson was conducted in the execution of the Order of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. “On measures to execute the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 13, 2019 No. 340“ On ensuring the conduct of on-site training according to the topic being studied ”.
The field lesson was organized by associate professors of the department "Social and Humanitarian Disciplines" Usmanova A.A. and Bekmirzaev I.
During the lesson, a tour of the Hazrati Imam complex was conducted. The students saw the main attractions of the historical and architectural ensemble, namely, the Barak-Khan madrasah, built in the 16th century, the Tilla-Sheikh mosque, the mausoleum of St. Abu Bakr Kaffali Shashi and the Imam Bukhari Islamic Institute. They witnessed the Center for Islamic Civilization under construction.
On the topic of the lesson, attention was focused on various trends and the philosophy of the Islamic religion. The students spoke about the origins of the Muslim religion, its founder, the prophet Mohammed, his sermons. They described in detail the socio-political situation that developed in the Arabian Peninsula at the beginning of the 6th century, which served as the basis for the birth of a new religion.
