«Amir Temur - the great commander and statesman»

On April 5, a conversation dedicated to the 683th anniversary of the great commander and statesman Amir Temur was held in the academic group URN 16-01 group. The conversation was conducted by A. Usmanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines. At the beginning of the conversation the lecturer has noted that Sahibkiran Amir Temur, as a far-sighted politician and major strategist, managed to found a large centralized and strong state that stretched from the borders of China to the lands of Eastern Rome and Egypt. Amir Temur restored the Great Silk Road that existed since ancient times, connecting the peoples of Central Asia with the peoples of the Mediterranean and Europe. As a result, trade and cultural ties between the countries of these regions were further developed.

Speaking about the achievements of the great commander, the students emphasized his strong willed nature, insightful mind - it was this person who was the need of the era. Speakers read excerpts from the “Codes”, which outlined the main provisions on government, stressed the importance of the principle of “Strength in justice!” in the development of modern Uzbekistan.

At the end of the conversation, the students told about the huge contribution of Sahibkiran to the national state system, education and culture, to the general development of the state. Amir Temur was the person who concentrated in his reign the political, economic and cultural heritage, which is an exemplary example for current development of our country.
