Meeting with winners of the State Prize named after Zulfiya
On March 28 the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M.Gubkin arranged a meeting of students with the winners of the State Prize named after Zulfiya - Umarova Nigora and Asadova Dilnoza.
The meeting was organized by the Women’s Council of the Branch and the Department of Social and Humanitarian disciplines. Associate Professor Sh.A. Namazova spoke about who has been awarded the title of laureate of the State Prize named after Zulfiya for which the awardee has received a medal and 50-fols amount of the minimum wage.
Professor Mansurova G.Kh. made a report on the creative performance of the folk poetess Zulfiya and read translations of her poems in Russian.
Umarov Nigora, who has made a presentation at the meeting, is a 3rd year student at the International University of Westminster Speaking. In her speech in English she told in which countries she was able to visit and which contests to participate. In particular, she participated in the competition in England for the student exchange program in 2016, in 2017 she took part in the UGRAD competition organized by the US Department and the International Educational Institution, she emphasized her participation in the International Competition in 2018 organized by the UN and was awarded the title of UN envoy.
Asadova Dilnoza is a student of 9 grade of the Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum named after R. Glier. She performed a cello musical composition and sang a song in Uzbek.
At the end of the meeting the winners of the State Prize shared their impressions of the competition.
