Legal literacy is the obligation of every student

On February 7, 2019 the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M.Gubkin in Tashkent city held an educational event organized with the participation of law enforcement officials.

Currently, comprehensive measures are being undertaken in the Republic to prevent legal injuries and combat crime. The formation of a well-thought-out legislative framework for the protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the youth and minors is a crucial factor in achieving positive results in ensuring the law enforcement.

The head of the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of Mirzo-Ulugbek district of  Tashkent city, lieutenant colonel Nodir Tokhirovich Kholbaev focused on the importanceand the need for early warning of juvenile delinquency, the role of interaction in this matter by supervisors of academic groups, police, prevention inspectors, teachers, parents and the general public.

In his speech, the major B. Khalilov, an employee of the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent city emphasized the necessity of paying attention to such important issues as the social and psychological aspects of deviant behavior of young people, the role of the family in shaping students' moral qualities.

“Successful prevention of juvenile delinquency requires efforts on the part of the whole society in order to ensure the harmonious development of adolescents, starting from early childhood,” said Khusanbekov Maman Sheralievich, a senior inspector.

The event participants received comprehensive answers from experts to all questions asked.
