Congratulation speech
Dear colleagues, dear students!
Let me to sincerely and from the bottom of my heart to congratulate you on this remarkable day with the greatest and most precious of our holidays - the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the beginning of a new academic year, to express to you the best wishes. The Independence of the country was proclaimed 27 years ago. From that day on, a new independent and sovereign state appeared on the world map - the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the history of our country lasting for a millennium, a new era has begun - the era of freedom and independence, national revival and development. Currently we can proudly say that having become the masters of our destiny, for a historically short period, we have achieved tremendous successes in finding a worthy place in the world community, ensuring human rights and freedoms, reviving national statehood and spiritual values, our sacred religion, customs and traditions .
Today is a significant day in your life as you have become students of one of the most prestigious universities in our Republic. The Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent city has opened its doors to you and we do hope that you will be worthy students and in the future will become highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry of the Republic. The current rapidly changing time, when competition on the world arises, requires us all to think in a new way, to receive good knowledge and work with even greater efforts.
As it has been noted by the respected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, “Educating a healthy and harmoniously developed generation, a purposeful and energetic youth, capable of taking responsibility for the fate and future of the Motherland, to channel all its knowledge and potential to this is a vital and main issue for us”. The leadership of our state pays a particular attention to the implementation of the youth policy in our country, creating the necessary conditions for obtaining good knowledge at the level of world standards. Your task is to multiply knowledge, actively participate in the social life of the Branch and be worthy students of the Gubkin University.
Let me once again congratulate you on the 27th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and wish you prosperity, well-being, peace, inspiration and success in the activities for the benefit of our homeland.
