Wednesday is the day of fire prevention

On March 28, 2018 in student dormitory located in Durmon Yuli 34, fire safety instructor S. Temirov, manager of the student dormitory S. Valiev together with engineer of 1-st department T. Jumaev, held verification of the fire safety, fire alarm and fire fighting systems. The main attention was drawn to the state of evacuation routes and the operability of fire alarm and warning systems.

During the course of this preventive measure, through the use of warning systems, students were informed of the “training fire alarm”. During a period of time, all the students at the dormitory left their rooms and gathered in a safe area where fire-safety instructor S. Temirov, engineer of 1-st department T. Djumayev, leader of the Youth Union of the Branch N. Turabekov, deputy dean F. Mirkamalov, S. Valiyev, as well as the tutor R. Sufyanov conducted an additional explanatory conversation.

It should be noted that by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 23 May 2017, every Wednesday of the week in the country is declared the day of fire prevention and these events are held on a regular basis in order to improve the activities to ensure fire safety.
