NAVRUZ - HOLIDAY OF SPRING AND RENOVATION!
On March 24, 2018 the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent city held a solemn event dedicated to the national holiday Navruz - a holiday of spring and renewal. The event was attended by honorary guests: representatives of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, academicians of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Sayyora Rashidova, Mashkhura Mavloni, rectors and heads of higher educational institutions. Deputy Director - Executive Director A.Magrupov delivered a congratulatory message to the guests and participants of the event: “Navruz for all of us is the beginning of a new year in the Eastern calendar, a symbol of good aspirations and hopes for a rich harvest, abundance and prosperity, the most ancient, beloved by our people a holiday free from all political trends, an inseparable part of our spirituality and national values.
The spirit and philosophy of Navruz has always contributed to the fact that people living in harmony with mother earth and nature, awakens in the heart of every person, regardless of nationality and religion, the desire for creation and prosperity, greater harmony and unity in society.
All this justifies the fact that the whole our nation happily celebrates Navruz, serves a rich dastarkhan with traditional spring delicacies such as sumalyak, halim, kuk-samsa and others. Everywhere, in every town and village, in each mahalla people express the most sincere feelings such as kindness and compassion, care and attention to the respected aksakals and mothers, to those who need support and assistance. And we can proudly say that all our staff, all students took an active part in these events.
In the days of Navruz quarrels and offenses are forgotten, each person with an open heart, wholeheartedly, sincerely congratulates his relatives, friends and friends, wishes them health, peace and tranquility, a clear sky over our homeland.
There is no doubt that it is possible to say that first of all thanks to the will and determination of the people, to the fact that they managed to preserve customs and traditions, the undying values of ancestors, in our country even today, after thousands of years, Navruz presents us its life-affirming power and beauty. I think, I will express your common opinion if I say: that we are descendants and heirs of such a great people who value their dignity and honor, their national consciousness, overwhelms our hearts with a feeling of great pride

A number of teachers, employees and students of the Branch were awarded with honorary commemorations in honor of the celebration of Navruz for active participation in the social life of the Branch.
A festive concert was organized with performances by students and artists of the Uzbek stage.
