Marathon Navruz-2018

On March 20, 2018, hundreds of people took part in the first half marathon, timed for the celebration of the national holiday Navruz, organized by the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan with the support of the Athletics Federation and Running School ProRun. The race consisted of three key distances: 21 km, 3 km and 2018 meters. The length of the distance of the marathon represents a remarkable date - "21.03.2018".

Participants of the races were people of different ages and different levels of training - both professional athletes and amateurs. Active students of the Youth Union of the Branch also took an active part in this marathon. Particularly pleased with the fact that the students of the Branch not only participated, but also acted as members of the organizing committee. Based on the results of the race for 3 kilometers, Rasulov Samad, a student of the group TC-15-01, took the fourth place and was awarded a memorable certificate.

The event was a great event for sports fans and adherents of a healthy lifestyle. People came not only to take part in the marathon, but also to support their relatives and friends, meet friends and exchange experiences.
