"Ecology in the modern world"
The upbringing of the students, its ecological education are the priorities of the state educational policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The goal of environmental education is the formation of conscious activity of the individual. To this end, on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Abduganievich Karimov, on January 20, 2018, students of the EE-16-01 group of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after IM Gubkin in Tashkent held a seminar on "Ecology in the modern world."
This seminar has allowed to expand and deepen knowledge about interrelationships in ecosystems, factors influencing these interrelations, about the huge environmental impact on human health. During the seminar the problems and opinions of students were considered, that it is necessary to learn the rational way of managing. Group work was carried out and presentations were made on solving specific problems, developing projects in defense of the Aral Sea. Some factors of environmental impact were also considered and theses were covered by the audience on various topics, such as: "Ecological Education of Youth of Uzbekistan", "Environmental Law", "The Impact of the Aral Problem on Children's Health", "Medical Ecology: Mutations", "Security System" motherhood and childhood "and others. Debates were held on choosing the most optimal ways to solve environmental problems.
The seminar provided detailed information on the environmental situation in the world, the main factors of environmental pollution and their elimination, and the enhancement of the ecological culture of young people in the field of conservation activities.
- "Special attention is paid to improving the ecological culture of young people, expanding the scope of advocacy to formulate its civic position with regard to the environment," says professor Arslanov Sh.S., professor of ecology and chemistry. - Therefore, the most effective method of combating environmental pollution is the environmental education of the population. "
It was especially noted that the formation under the leadership of the First President of our country Islam Karimov, a solid legal basis for streamlining relations in the field of ecology, is an important factor in the wise use of natural resources, reducing the negative impact on the environment. One of the largest in the recent history of global environmental disasters experienced by the countries and people of Central Asia is the tragedy of the Aral Sea, which in its environmental, climatic, socio-economic and humanitarian consequences poses a direct threat to the region's sustainable development, health, gene pool and future living in Thus, on the initiative of the First President of Uzbekistan in 2008 in Tashkent, with the support of the United Nations, an international conference "Problems of the Aral Sea, their influence on genes population, flora and fauna and measures of international cooperation to mitigate their consequences, "the seminar also discussed the issues of this conference.
- We are deeply studying the legislation in the field of ecology, - says the student of the Branch Ashurova Nilufar. - Given that a clean environment is a guarantee of health, we must comply with environmental standards.
An exchange of views took place on the implementation of legislative principles in the field of ecology, cooperation between state and public organizations to enhance environmental culture in society.
The event noted that the rational use of natural resources is also one of the important factors of a healthy and prosperous life.
In conclusion, we can say that all the initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan are continuing, the legal basis for supporting the youth of Uzbekistan is strengthening year by year.
