In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-3404 of November 27, 2017 "On celebrating the 80th anniversary of the birth of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outstanding state and political figure of Islam Abduganievich Karimov", the instruction of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan January 17, 2018 № 87-03-182, January 20 this year in the residence of students of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NIU) named after IM Gubkin in the city of Tashkent, feeder branch "Technology of geological and geophysical exploration," the leader of the youth branch of the Union Turabekovym NU, a round table on the topic was held "My first President - Islam Karimov." At this event Turabekov N.U. noted the most important achievements of the first President; his success in the formation of independent Uzbekistan, the chosen model of economic development, as a result, the great achievements in the growth of industry and business development, the measures to ensure the security of our country, the strengthening of the authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the world arena, the growth of the well-being of the Uzbek people and the rate of youth in providing the great future of our country.

During the round table participants actively participated in the discussion; supplemented the speaker's words and, using the example of his family, reflected the full effectiveness of the implemented state programs.
