On the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Abduganievich Karimov, on January 18, 2018, the management, staff and students of the branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.Gubkin in Tashkent city laid flowers to the monument an outstanding state and political figure, the founder of independent Uzbekistan.
