The Branch hosted a volleyball and football tournament for the “Minister’s Cup”

In the sports complex of the Branch, the qualifying stage of the “Minister’s Cup” in volleyball and football among students of the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent.

Volleyball competitions were held according to the circular system, and football according to the Olympic system. Each meeting was dynamic, exciting and tense, the matches were held in an uncompromising and equal struggle.

According to the results of the competition “Minister’s Cup” in volleyball, the first place was taken by the team of 1st year students, the second place was taken by the team of 4th year students, the third place went to the team of 2nd year students.

         In football the first place was taken by the team of students of the academic group URB-22-01, the second place was taken by the team UGI-22-08 and the third place was taken by the team UEE-22-07.

It is worth noting that this volleyball and football tournament was organized in order to develop and popularize mass student sports.

As a result of the tournament, the best teams and players have been awarded commemorative cups and medals.
