During the meetings, particular attention was paid to the decisive role of spiritual values in the development of personality. In his speech, acting Azizakhon Usmanova, head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, noted that in the formation of the spiritual and moral qualities of the younger generation, such humanistic values are concentrated that are not subject to aging.

At the same time, they create the ethnic specificity of people, enrich their spiritual appearance. At present, it is crucially important not to lose those values in the spiritual culture of the past that have been accumulated by many generations of ethnic groups, because in the upbringing of the younger generation it is impossible to do without using the experience of the people in this area, its pedagogical traditions. Within the framework of economic, political and spiritual transformations taking place in recent years, there have been trends in the revival of traditional forms of education in the process of socialization of the younger generation. During the years of independence of Uzbekistan, a lot of work has been done to preserve and further develop cultural values and original national traditions.

Therefore, the transfer of national values, their cultural, spiritual and moral content to the younger generations is especially relevant today, particularly in the field of education. The phenomenon of values and their formative and culture-forming role are at the center of the development of pedagogical theory and practice. It is known that the success and viability of any pedagogical system, as well as the social formation as a whole, lies in the extent to which it manages to form a stable and continuous experience of transferring moral values and patterns of behavior that meet the mentality, the demands of society and the individual. The performances of folklore students from the Institute of Culture and Art provided an emotional coloring to the meetings. The brothers Shovdirbek and Rahmatjon Boykhurozov performed musical compositions on national instruments. They performed magnificent strings of dombra, surna, mouth harp, bakhshi chant, which the folk art of Kashkadarya region is famous for. Moreover, during the discussion participants focused on the problem of the disappearance of national values, traditions and rituals in modern societies, especially among young people, due to the impact of negative samples of mass culture, the popularization of the Western way of life, the unstable moral convictions of young people due to their age and lack of life experience.

Herewith, those who spoke with special pride gave examples of the true roots of the spiritual heritage, which represent the unshakable origins of national values, historical heritage deserving endless deep respect and reverence.

At the end of the meetings, wishes were made to continue such events, to exchange cultural programs between the two universities, to hold youth festivals, competitions that glorify the richness of the spiritual and historical life of the Uzbek people.
