The future of our country is in the hands of the younger generation

Many people are dissatisfied with the choice of profession, which they earn for a living. Career guidance provides an opportunity to answer one of the important life questions – “What profession suits me?”. Most often, they are asked by high school students, and although the choice of professions in the modern labor market is the widest, where to go to study after school, teenagers often have no idea. Therefore, they go to study at the “right” university under the influence of parents and friends. Or they do not go to the university of their dreams because of uncertainty in their own abilities. However, we are able to direct them in the right direction and instill in them confidence in the chosen way.

A lot of oil and gas industry facilities are concentrated in Kashkadarya region. Examples of such facilities are: Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex (SHGCC) and Mubarek Gas Processing Plant (MGPP), and Uzbekistan GTL plant, which is the 5th high-tech plant in the world, has recently been launched.

These plants need a new generation of specialists, who are being trained by the branch of the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent. As the motto of our university says, “We are preparing worthy personnel for a worthy future of our country.”

In this regard, career guidance was carried out in secondary schools No. 9 and No. 11 of the city of Karshi, with the assistance of the directors of these schools, Olga Kodirovna Uzokova and Anvar Saidkarimovich Ganiev. Our senior teachers of the department of “Professional disciplines” Alimbabaeva Z.L. and Mahmudova Sh.A. initiated this event to attract talented and motivated school graduates.
