HOLDING CAREER GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES AT SCHOOL IS THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL PERSONALITY

As part of the career guidance activities of the Branch teachers in schools and lyceums, on December 21, 2021, a meeting was held with K.M. Tokareva, the senior teacher of the Department of “Technologies of Geological and Geophysical Prospecting” with students of the 11th grade of the state general secondary school №187 of Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent.

During the conversation, the students got acquainted with the directions of study (specialties) existing in the Branch, the main directions of professional activity for each of the training profiles, with the rules for admission to the 1st year.

Also, the teacher read a short lecture on the topic “The structure of the Earth”, which reflected the main features of the internal structure of the Earth, the main geophysical methods used in its study. Students were shown a film about how the planet Earth works and the importance of geology and geophysics in its study. After watching the film, in question-and-answer mode, a discussion took place on the viewed material, where the students asked the questions they were interested in and received complete and reliable answers.
