Russian language is the key to mutual enrichment of cultures
In October 2021 with the aim of implementing international webinar programs with the leading universities of the republic, as well as in the Central Asian region, at the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I. M. Gubkin hosted a student workshop “The Russian language is the key to the mutual enrichment of cultures”. Leading scholars, teachers-philologists, students from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Jurgenov, Tashkent State Law University participated in this event. The main idea of the workshop was devoted to the popularization of the Russian language in the republic, as well as its role, significance and development prospects.
Within the framework of language practice, as well as the purpose of the activity club “Russian language” in the Branch, presentations have been made by university students. The speakers focused on the expansion and deepening of multilingualism as the basis of interethnic relations and cultural mutual enrichment, the creation of space for building constructive communication among students. Students from other universities noted the attractiveness of the Russian language, its recognition and status among humanitarian and cultural cooperation.
During the workshop, senior teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Jurgenov Almatov Nurshashty Arapovna, Tashkent State Law University Matenov Rashid Bekimbetovich presented their reports. The branch was presented by the senior lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines Fedorova Larisa Ivanovna. The teachers emphasized the importance of interuniversity dialogue, which is currently an effective platform for saturating the theory and practice of teaching the Russian language, applying innovative and creative approaches in the educational process. In addition, it was emphasized that the organized webinar programs are an opportunity to make new friends from other universities and learn to communicate with their peers, enrich knowledge and interaction skills, and position oneself in the information and communicative language space, as well as to improve the quality and level of teaching the Russian language for the faculty.
1st year students of the direction UTP-21-07 of the Branch, as well as the faculty of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines Namazova Sh. A., Shaliyeva I. S., Abdullaeva D. U., Halimova A. F. and students participated in this event. The proposal for further cooperation was made by the acting head of the department Usmanov A.A., senior teacher Fedorova L.I., whose initiative was supported by all the participants of the event. At the end of the dialogue, words of gratitude were expressed for the participation of the parties in the workshop and an invitation to the next joint dialogue.
The quiz on the topic: “What do we know about Russia?” was held in the final part of this event. Songs and poems were performed by students of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Jurgenov.
As a result of the workshop, Rakhimkulov Dali, Omarov Azamat, Nedzvedsky Andrey - 1st year students of the Branch - were awarded certificates and letters of thanks for their active participation and high language training.
