Successful debut of freshmen of the Branch in international student Open Internet Olympiads!

From 16 to 23 October this year, over 300 students of the 1st, 3rd and 4th courses of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent took part in the 1st round of international student Open Internet Olympiads on such social and humanitarian subjects as “History of Russia”, “Russian language”, “Philosophy”, “Legal studies”, “Culture studies” and “Sociology”.

Round 1 of the International Student Open Internet Olympiads was held at the Branch in the form of online testing, lasting 120 minutes and consisted of 25 tasks. The preparation and conduct of the 1st round of the Olympiad was carried out by the sector for organizing research activities of gifted students with the support and assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Subjects. In addition, members of the student scientific society provided active assistance to the 1st round. The students showed the greatest interest and participation in the subject "Russian language" and the most active were 1st year students of the directions "Economics of Oil and Gas Complex Organizations" and "Production Management". According to the organizers, only 25021 students from 120 universities and branches of universities of the Russian Federation, as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took part in the 1st round.

According to the results of the 1st round of the Open International Student Internet Olympiads in the disciplines "Russian Language", "Jurisprudence" and "Sociology", 21 students were invited, of which 6 students are freshmen. Round 2 will also be held at the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after IM Gubkin in the city of Tashkent, acting as the organizers' base university. In addition to the students of the Branch, participants from other universities of Uzbekistan were also invited, who passed the 2nd round, which will be held in the format of computer online testing in accordance with the following schedule:

November 19, 2021 (Friday) – “Sociology”;

November 20, 2021 (Saturday) – “Russian language”, “Jurisprudence”.
