Visit of representatives of the auditing company Big Four - KPMG to the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent

On March 5, 2021 the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent held a working meeting with representatives of the Big Four auditing company - KPMG. KPMG is engaged in the provision of audit, tax and advisory services in the consumer market and trade, financial sector, real estate and construction. In addition, the company has been closely cooperating for over 25 years with leading companies in the oil and gas industry, such as Gazprom, LUKOIL, Rosneft and others.

The meeting discussed issues of cooperation in the field of employment of graduates of the Branch in the KPMG company, as well as possible ways to achieve this goal. KPMG has expressed interest in accepting 50 interns in the second half of 2021 from among the graduates of the Branch. At the initial stage, the company considers the selection of qualified specialists. The main selection criteria are determined: proficiency in English, presentation preparation skills, understanding of the specifics of the specialty and knowledge of the prospects for the industry. The plans for further cooperation include supervising future employees, starting from the 3rd year, organizing industrial practice and thematic trainings.
