Republican scientific and technical conference

The III-Republican scientific and technical conference "Innovative developments in science, education and production - the basis of investment attractiveness of the oil and gas industry" was held at the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent.

The conference was attended by heads and employees of a number of ministries and departments, leading scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, divisions of “Uzbekneftegaz” JSC, as well as young scientists, students and specialists from research institutes and higher educational institutions.

The conference was organized in the following areas:

- innovation and investment - the basis for the modernization of the oil and gas industry;

- integration of education, science and industry - the basis for the development of competitive personnel for the oil and gas industry;

- energy saving and energy efficiency - factors of sustainable development of the oil and gas industry;

- chemical technology and ecology in the oil and gas industry;

- the use of advanced technologies to improve the efficiency of geological exploration to increase hydrocarbon production;

- introduction of advanced technologies to increase the production and transportation of hydrocarbon raw materials;

- digital economy and digitalization processes in the oil and gas industry of the oil and gas industry.

In the process of preparing the conference, over 160 applications for participation in the conference have been sent to a specially created e-mail on the website of the Branch. As a result of the conference, a collection of conference materials was published.

Over 100 reports have been presented during the conference. The topics of the reports were devoted to the application of advanced technologies in the field of geology, drilling, development and transportation of hydrocarbons, innovative technologies for oil and gas processing, industrial safety, ecology, environmental protection and economics.

According to the results of the conference, the three best reports were recommended for encouragement with valuable prizes and diplomas.

I place - Deputy Head of the Department, Senior Lecturer of the Department "Development of Oil, Gas and Gas Condensate Fields" - Akhmedov Mirzaanvar Mohidjonovich with a report on “Technological methods affecting the productivity of horizontal wells on the example of gas and gas condensate fields in Uzbekistan”;

II place - Lecturer of the Department of Geological and Geophysical Exploration Technologies - Tokareva Ksenia Mudjakhidovna with a report on the topic “Analysis and assessment of reservoir properties of terrigenous rocks of the Djel deposit using well logging methods and laboratory core studies”;

III place - Associate Professor of the Department of Economics of Oil and Gas, PhD in Economics  - Uralov Akbarali Babanazarovich with a report on “Issues of taxation of innovative activities”.
