U-Report

U-Report is an innovative digital youth social monitoring platform. It is based on simple messages and short questions to conduct surveys and exchange important information for the community. U-Report is a free and anonymous platform for all users and is designed to strengthen and develop interactions between youth, government and society.

U-Report enables young people to participate and express their opinion on the reforms taking place in the country and in their communities, as well as influence these processes to achieve positive change.

Becoming a member of the U-Reporter team is easy – it’s free, voluntary and anonymous. This requires a computer, mobile phone or tablet and access to one of the mobile operators in Uzbekistan and/or access to the Internet. There are several ways to become part of the U-Report team:

- Send an SMS with the word START to number 1122 and answer a few questions about your age, address, etc. (This process takes not more than 5 minutes and is free, regardless of the chosen mobile operator);

- Find the bot of the Telegram channel @UReportUzbBot and send the word START, after which you will need to answer a few short questions;

- Find UReportUzbekistan on Facebook and send the word START in private messages, after which you will need to answer a few simple questions.

After receiving a congratulatory message, you become part of the larger U-Report team. After that, you will be able to participate in all surveys sent to your mobile device.

The questionnaires consist of thematic questions and answer options that enable young people to have a direct and impartial opinion on important topics. U-Report surveys focus on quality and access to basic social services, education and health, environment, technology, culture, leisure and other important issues of interest to young people. The results of the survey will be open to the public and available in U-Report at any time. The survey results will also be available to interested government and non-government organizations for timely response and decision-making on positive changes.

The U-Report project in Uzbekistan is being implemented by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the UNICEF office in Tashkent with the support of Ucell mobile operator.

Welcome to U-Report!
