The Students of the “Gubkin” invited to a mobile application contest

A meeting with the project organizers - leading specialists of Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies LLC was held at the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M.Gubkin in Tashkent.

As IT analyst S. Kuikarov and the company’s market analyst N. Mukhammadadaliev noted in their report, that teh contest for the development of the best state-run mobile application “mGovAward” aims to realize the innovative potential of university students in Uzbekistan. Experts explained the conditions for participation, the stages of passing and encouraging students of the “mGovAward” competition, the winners of which will receive $ 50 thousand for the first place, 30 thousand USD for the second place, and 20 thousand USD for the third place. According to the organizers, the monetary incentive established by the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the UAE will help to attract students to participate in state building.

The contest provides the best opportunity to encourage talented young people to creatively solve social problems, since the creation of an effective, transparent and uninterrupted mobile application will help improve the provision of public services, and, as a result, improve the lives of citizens of the republic, IT-technopark experts emphasized.

The selection of the best student innovations is planned for February 2020, online voting, presentation of projects and awarding of the winners of the innovations will take place in March 2020, IT-park specialists informed the students of the Branch. The guests answered many questions in detail, noting at the end of the meeting the high level of technical competence of the “Gubkints”.

 The mGovAward contest has started, we will wait for its results.
