Awarded diplomas in Moscow
Students of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, Hasan Abrorov, Husan Abrorov and Doniyor Zokhidov won the 2nd place at the XI International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress "Oil and Gas Horizons" in Moscow.
The world forum organized by the Moscow SPE section was held at the RSU of oil and gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin. It hould be noted, that 92 students and graduate students from 22 universities from 15 countries took part in this event.
Students of the URG-16-02 group of the department "Development of oil, gas and gas condensate fields" Hasan Abrorov, Husan Abrorov and Doniyor Zokhidov were awarded 2 prize places in the HSE section. They presented a report on the topic "Obtaining ecologically pure electric power on the Khodzaabad UGS by using the expander-generation unit."
Director of the Branch and Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Affairs of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin, professor Alexander Maksimenko warmly welcomed the participants of the large-scale forum SPE. Moreover, the opening ceremony was attended by the Assistant to the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov, Vice President of “Schlumberger” on Commerce Artem Karapetov and Senior Vice President of the World Petroleum Council Anatoly Zolotukhin.
According to Hasan and Husan Abrorov, Doniyor Zakhidov, the main agenda of the forum was meetings in technical sessions, where students and graduate students from all over presented world reports in twelve sections.
In addition, the representatives from Uzbekistan actively participated in such events as the International and Regional (Russia and the Caspian region) SPE round tables, technical lectures on the transformation of the oil and gas industry, as well as a technical case from Schlumberger, the intellectual game PetroOlympic Games and the soft-skills skills fair from Halliburton. The cultural program comprised a tour of the sights of the city of Moscow has become another memorable page of a large-scale international event.
According to students of the Branch, the SPE Congress in Moscow facilitated the exchange of experience and ideas with students from specialized universities in the world, a scientific platform for meetings with industry experts and company leaders, and provided an opportunity to work on joint technical projects.
As the students- participants from Uzbekistan noted, they were very grateful for the management of the Branch for the created conditions for scientific activity: classes in the SPE student section in Tashkent are the best opportunity to be at the forefront of the global profession of technical engineers.
