From the Earth - to Mars and the Moon
Dilmurod Azimov, Professor of Hawai University "a Manoa (USA), demonstrated the exciting prospects of space scientific research in the master class seminar "Problems of Modern Mechanics" in English which was held at the n Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent city. This event was preceded by a meeting of a famous scientist with the management of the Branch, a conversation with the Executive Director of the Branch, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor A. Magrupov.
Students of academic groups UTP 19-01, UTP 18-02, UTS 18-02, UTS 18-01, URB 19-01 participated as the listeners of the innovation event arranged by the department of “Professional disciplines” in English. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty Associate Professor Sh.Ravilov, Head of the Department Doctor of Technical Sciences Professor S. Yunusov, senior lecturers N. Nadyrova, Sh. Makhmudova, as well as assistant D. Olimkhonova attended the event.
In his speech in English, Professor Dilmurod Azimov embraced a truly gigantic thematic section of the methodology of analytical mechanics, from the dynamics of solving problems and development programs to creating unique autonomous systems.
According to the speaker, scientific research in this area is extremely popular among American companies that are major customers of such projects. The development and creation of manned vehicles is engaged in a scientific laboratory in Hawaii. The value of such studies lies in their application in today's practical activities, such as drone drones, for example, in the country's agriculture. However, the research of scientists is not confined only to a single sphere and is not limited to narrow applied tasks, but has led to world research, in particular, on the use of manned astronautics for flights to the Moon and Mars. Professor Dilmurod Azimov with his developments participated in the program of the US space agency NASA. According to the scientist, the solution of these problems is applicable in the conditions of Uzbekistan and, as you know, it is likely that they will be implemented by the students of the Branch.
“The polls I previously conducted, showed that the student of Gubkin University are very talented, well trained professionally,” says a world-famous research scientist. Dilmurod Azimov himself is a native of Tashkent, a graduate of Tashkent State University, where he studied at the faculty of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics. Having won a grant, a talented specialist left for the USA, where he worked for 18 years.
“Today is such a time that it is no longer possible to be only a student, but it is necessary to start working in companies and industries: master and enter the professional level of activity,” the scientist believes.
