From the research to implementation
A whole line of brilliant research studies, successfully implemented in production or at the stage of implementation has been presented by the participants of the Republican scientific and technical conference “Integration of science, education and production as the most important factor in the implementation of investment projects in the oil and gas industry” which was held at the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent.
Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Elzara Yuzlikaeva, deputy director on academic affairs emphasized in her welcoming address, that the policy of the oil and gas industry which is one of the most rapidly growing leading sectors of the national economy includes not only the development of the oil and gas industry, but also the training, qualification upgrading and retraining of highly qualified personnel.
In terms of the course outlined by the country’s leadership to achieve competitiveness and efficiency of the national economy, close integration of science, education and production, development of international cooperation in this area, the forum organized by the Branch has become a kind of business platform for the efficient implementation of the tasks set forth.
According to the director of the Institute of Chemistry, Bakhtiyar Zakirov, the Branch plays an important role in training personnel for the oil and gas industry, which he called the “driving force” of the national economy.
- “Comprehensively trained and highly-demanded graduates of the Branch currently work at the Ferghana Oil Refinery, in Bukhara, Shurtan, where they adequately represent their university and their profession. Adequately educated personnel are a decisive factor”.
Then the head of the Institute of Chemistry who announced the award of the title of Professor to Associate Professor of the Branch Farhad Yusupov and the hall greeted with loud applause. Moreover, the audience highly appreciated the results of the report of the head of the laboratory of the Uzbek Scientific Research Chemical-Pharmaceutical Institute named after A. Sultanov, Honored Scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Mirakhmad Pulatovich Yunusov. In his speech, the scientist announced successful completion of more than a year of scientific development to create a domestic aluminum oxide adsorbent based on local raw materials, not inferior in effectiveness to the imported French counterpart. As a result, the recently received large order has become the best recognition of the scientific value of innovation.
The participants were keenly interested in the topic “Developments in well research in the format of petroelastic modeling” presented by Ksenia Tokareva, a teacher at the Department of Geological and Geophysical Exploration Technologies, the Branch of the Russian State University (NRU) of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent.
Candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Elena Kotlyarova, in the framework of the conference, presented in the report “Resource-saving technologies: energy-efficient methodological research based on a rational field development system” which mathematical calculations of mining wells had already been already tested in the industry.
It should be noted that the first-year students of the Branch also actively participated in the conference. In this regard Azamiddin Mukhiddinov prepared a report on the topic “Ink pen in the age of computers”, in which based on his practical experience, shared his thoughts on the significance of the art of calligraphy in descriptive geometry. It is very interesting fact that in the age of space technology, young people do not forget the spiritual foundations
“Participation of representatives of science, companies and universities in the work of the forum is indicative: it already has a scientific and practical value, it becomes the most important part of innovative development,” - acting First Deputy of the Minister of Innovation Development Sharof Razhabbaev commented on the significance of the Republican scientific and technical conference “Integration of science, education and production is the most important factor in the implementation of investment projects of the oil and gas industry”.
At the end of the scientific marathon which was headed and moderated by the Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, Associate Professor Khayot Ibragimov with the award ceremony following the breakout sessions:
- Diploma of the 1st degree: Tokareva K. –a lecturer of the department of "Technology of geological and geophysical exploration";
- Diploma of the 2nd degree: K. Mambetsapaev - A lecturer of the department "Mathematics and computer sciences";
- Diploma of the 3rd degree - A. Mukhitdinov - A student of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent.
