On the results of the election of the leader of the Faculty of the Youth Union of the Branch

With the aim of executing the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № UP-5106 “On measures to improve the efficiency of the public youth policy and support of the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan” as of July 5, 2017 as well as letters of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan №  87-01-335 “On improving the efficiency of primary organizations of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan in higher educational institutions” as of August 22, 2017 and according to the established rules, the elections of the leader of the Faculty of the Youth Union of the Branch were held on September 24, 2018.

Before the election, the chairman of the election commission Sh. M. Ravilov held a conversation with members of the commission on carrying out elections, afterwards the members of the commission checked the sealing of the ballot box and wished all the candidates good luck. At 08:00 the voting process was launched.

In the elections, three candidates were nominated for the position of the leader of the Youth Union of the Branch: Jdanov Roman, a student of the group URB-15-01, chairman of the Union of Creative Students “STS”, Majidiy Mirsultan, a student of the group UEE-16-01, leader of the section on work with the gifted and initiative youth of the Youth Union of the Branch, and Khaidarov Rustam, a student of the group UTS-16-01, the leader of the organizational control and staff section of the Youth Union of the Branch, a deputy of the Youth Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the election attendance constituted 80 percent (754 students) out of the total number of students. 48 percent of the electors voted for Jdanov Roman, 27 percent - for Majidiy Mirsultan, and 25 percent - for Khaidarov Rustam.

The number of spoiled ballots was 4 pieces, unused - 3 pieces.

According to the Charter of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, Jdanov Roman Ruslanovich, gaining the support of 48 percent of voters, was elected as a leader of the Faculty of the Youth Union of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent city.
