The role of women in society, science and art


On March 16, the event "The role of women in society, science and art" was held in the Branch. The guests were academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Rashidov Sayyora Sharafovna, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mavloniy Mashkhura Egamovna, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Yusupova Dilorom Yunusovna.

Opening speech was delivered by the Deputy Director for Academic and Scientific Work, Professor Yuzlikayeva ER. She said that in our republic the leadership of the republic and the government pays much attention to women. Our women today take a big part in the development of society. Among them are senators, deputies, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers, engineers and representatives of various professions.

Students of the group EE-16-01 Tukhtamirzaeva Iroda and Tursunpulatov Sarvinoz told in their presentation about the women who left a mark in the history of literature: the Uzbek queen and poetess Nodirabegim, the Persian poet Zebunniso and the people's poetess of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulfiyahonim. Also, a lot of interesting things were told about the famous dancer Tamarakhonum.

Guests of the event told about their activities, about their student years, answered questions from students. Their stories aroused great interest among students.

In particular, academician Sayyora Sharafovna was asked questions about the family, about scientific activities, to which she answered in detail. And in her speech she urged young people to study, strive for new heights of science, stressed that today young people are given high hopes and created all the conditions on the part of the government.

Also interesting was a conversation with academician Mavloniy Mashkhura Egamovna. She told the youth about her life. When asked what it takes to become a scientist, Mashkhura Egamovna answered - talent plus work and great zeal.

Academician Dilor Yunusovna Yusupova as a specialist in ancient manuscripts and a connoisseur of Arabic, Russian, Uzbek and English spoke about the importance of knowledge of languages, which now requires knowledge of at least three languages. Particular importance is attached to the Russian language and its meaning is very large, since most of the literature is written in Russian.

Meeting with women - academicians was very lively and interesting. At the end of the event, guests were presented with valuable gifts, bouquets of spring flowers.
