VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES AS A GUARANTEE OF CLOSE CONNECTION OF SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY

The event within the framework of vocational guidance work with schoolchildren to familiarize them with the main activities of the Branch was held on December 4, 2021 at the state secondary school №171 of  Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent city, specialized in the subjects of mathematics, astronomy, physics and computer science.

Within the framework of this meeting, Acting Head of the Department of Geological and Geophysical Exploration Technologies Turabekov N.U. told the 10th grade students the technology of conducting geological and geophysical surveys aimed at finding and exploring oil and gas fields, as well as about the prospects for the development of the oil and gas industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the activities of the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, aimed at training highly qualified specialists for the prosperity of our Motherland.

The second half of the meeting was held in the form of an open discussion, during which the students received answers to their questions regarding the educational process and scientific activities of the Branch.
