Students of the Branch of the Gubkin Russian University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent are participating in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Today on October 24, elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan are being held in the republic. Students of the Branch, like all citizens of the Republic, actively participate in the elections. So, for example, 363 students residing in the students’ dormitory of the Branch cast their vote in the election of the head of state from 8.00 in the polling station No. 39 of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent city.

Among all students currently residing in students’ dormitories, 68 students are participating in this election for the first time. The Branch’s management prepared valuable gifts for them. Some of them, at the entrance to the polling station have been interviewed by the rector of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education of the Russian University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin, Viktor Martynov, who is participating in these elections as an observer.

The first-year student of the education profile “Geological exploration technology” Eshkuvatova Orasta, having realized her constitutional, electoral rights, having voted for her future and the future of the country, in high spirits says that this event is an important event in her life. Since it is young people who have the opportunity to freely express their thoughts and the right to freely choose which can be a generator of new ideas for New Uzbekistan.
