Pleasant and useful leisure of students of the Branch

Students of the Branch spend their free time efficiently and the past week was no exception. In honor of the day of the adoption of the international declaration of tolerance, which is annually celebrated on November 16, a meeting dedicated to this topic was held within the walls of the Branch, the guests of the event were the representative of the Mirzo Ulugbek khokimiyat - N.B. Botirov and an employee of the department of the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.I. Amonov. The guests in their speech spoke about the importance of tolerance, respect and understanding of one's neighbor. It should be noted that more than 15 different nationalities study at the Branch, and representatives of more than 130 nationalities and 16 religious denominations live in our republic, who live confidently and freely, in peace and harmony with each other.

Another bright event of the past week was a concert organized by students living in Student Residences, which was dedicated to the International Student’s Day. The concert performed by talented students did not leave anyone indifferent.

Following the creative evening in the Students’ dormitory №1 there was held the “Culinary pilaf competition” and students prepared Andijan and Kashkadarya pilaf. The girls also pleased all the members of the jury with their culinary skills.

In addition, past week was full of various student associations, including on November 17, 2022, within the framework of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a meeting was held on the topic “How and why to write abstracts and articles”, at which it was determined why to prepare abstracts and articles, were considered issues of the importance of speaking at conferences and forums, as well as the benefits of writing scientific papers.
