“In New Uzbekistan, the dignity of a person, the interests of the people are the highest value!”

Under this motto the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent launched a new academic year. Today, on the first day of the academic year, the faculty of the Branch, together with the staff of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, solemnly held the first lesson of the new academic year. By tradition, the beginning of the academic year was dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, but as a difference today, the 1-st year students also celebrated the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers, as full-fledged members of one large family of oil workers.

As a distinguished guest and mentor, the event was attended by the Chairman of the Public Council of the Branch Khakkulov Kayum Jalilovich, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was represented by the Deputy Head Khimmatov Ismail Ibragimovich and the wind instruments orchestra.

The first lesson began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the orchestra of wind instruments of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was followed by a congratulatory speech by the Executive Director of the Branch Magrupov Abdulla Makhmudovich. In the welcoming speech of the executive director of the Branch A. Magrupov, it was noted that today the words “New Uzbekistan” are perceived on the world stage not only as a new concept, but also as a reflection of real events. All this serves to create the foundation of the Third Renaissance in our country - a new era of our national development.

Khakkulov Kayum Jalilovich followed him with congratulations and wishes of success in studies. The Chairman of the Public Council of the Branch wished the first-year students success in their studies and innovative drive in new endeavors.

During the event, musical performances by senior students and video greetings from the graduates of the Branch were presented.

Another of the most memorable moments of the event was the performance of the orchestra of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and it has enhanced a positive mood in everyone.

At the end of the event, first-year students were introduced to the leadership of the Branch and the “Initiation of Students” events began.
