The Branch hosted the “Job Fair -2022”

In order to ensure the employment of students, as well as a close familiarization of employers with students, on April 14, 2022 the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent held the Job Fair -2022.

It is close cooperation with the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex and international operators in matters of education, upbringing and employment of our students that is a clear indicator of the integration of science, education and production.

The event was attended by the khokim of Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent Sh. Ltd., Uzliti Engineering, Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, FE LLC “SEG”, Center for Promotion of Employment of the Mirzo-Ulugbek District, representatives of private business of over 25 major employers.

It should be noted that in 2022 the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent turns 15 years old. This event serves as proof that during its existence the Branch has gained authority and significance in the training of qualified personnel for the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Currently, the Branch provides training in 8 popular areas of education, in which 854 students study. Cooperation agreements have been concluded with more than 20 international and national enterprises and organizations in the oil and gas industry, and for the first time in the industry, a dual education system has been established. The educational process is organized at the production enterprises of “Uzbekneftegaz” JSC.

Every year, about 300 students study the basics of production and master the working professions necessary for production: namely, assistant driller, gas and oil production operator, welder.

Current job fair is a continuation of our work in this direction, which is organized to ensure the successful employment of our graduates at enterprises and organizations of the republic.

During the event, students directly with representatives of enterprises and companies were able to discuss the requirements for employees, working conditions, existing staff vacancies. Master classes, presentations and round tables were held for students from the graduates of the Branch, representatives of various companies and businesses.
