MAIN PRIORITY FOCUS AREAS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIO-HUMANITARIAN DISCIPLINES

The Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent hosted an international scientific seminar dedicated to the study of the main priority focus areas in the development of social and humanitarian disciplines. This seminar is a program of promising tasks outlined in the framework of signed memorandums of cooperation and exchange of experience with specialist teachers from leading universities of the republic and foreign educational institutions. The faculty of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin, Novosibirsk State University, the faculty of MGIMO and the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov.

 

The seminar brought together leading researchers from the Uzbek Research Institute of Pedagogical Sciences named after T. Kary-Niyazi, the Coordinating Methodological Center for Contemporary History under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, coordinators of educational programs of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The seminar was attended by representatives of the production association LLC “Bukhara Oil Refinery” represented by the head of the training department G. Mirzajnova.

The seminar was initiated by the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Branch - this is the first experience of joint performance with the country’s universities on an international scale.

During the seminar, reports of scholars-researchers were made on topical issues of training and education of the younger generation. Particular attention was paid to topics related to the formation of the educational and spiritual environment in universities, modern approaches to educating the worldview, horizons, and conscious attitude of young people to life. A detailed conversation took place around the problems related to the spiritual and moral level of students through the teaching of social and humanitarian disciplines, their role in the development of the youth of New Uzbekistan.

In his speech, the director of the Uzbek Research Institute of Pedagogical Sciences named after T. Kary-Niyazi, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kh. Ibraimov named important tasks for radically updating the pedagogical process, creating a new generation of educational literature that meets the new requirements of today. Examples were given from the scientific and pedagogical activities of Eastern thinkers, as well as representatives of the Jadid movement, who in their era used innovative principles and methods of teaching the humanities. Their mentoring activity in educating the moral image of young people, their inner spirit, willpower and responsibility for their own destiny and the nation as a whole has been emphasized.

The Professor of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan S. Agzamkhodjaev comprehensively emphasized the methods of teaching at his university. He highlighted the importance of universal, national, including religious values ​​in the education of young people, the formation of an active citizenship, participation in the socio-political processes taking place in the country.

The representative of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Branch R. Nazarov spoke on the plans for further improvement of cooperation with the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent, holding a series of webinars and round tables, where topical problems in teaching the humanities and developing practical recommendations for enhancing joint publications will be discussed.

Speeches by specialists from the Coordination and Methodological Center at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan were devoted to new research in the study of the modern history of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the seminar, wishes were made to hold such events on a regular basis, to invite more representatives of the scientific community, young researchers involved in the problems of pedagogy, psychology, logic, cultural studies to the conversation. Focus on modern forms and methods of teaching, teaching trends, be on the lookout for creative and non-standard approaches to improve the educational environment in educational institutions, ensuring close cooperation with parents and other responsible social workers in this area.
