Students and alumni of the Branch have won the competition from Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company

A group of students and alumni of our Branch became the winners of the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” held in June this year by Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company (LUOC). For the solemn presentation of well-deserved prizes, on December 22, within the walls of the Branch, an award ceremony was organized with the participation of a representative of the company, Ilnur Saifullin and the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation of the Branch, Professor Yunusov Salohiddin Zununovich.

At the beginning of the event, a representative of LUOC informed all participants about the game itself, which was held at the beginning of the summer and was intended for all employees of the company, students of the Branch and members of the SPE Tashkent section. The well-known social network Telegram was chosen as the platform for the event. There were three rounds in total, each of which consisted of 8 questions. After listening to each question, the team captain had just over 1 minute to send the answer. As a result, three teams became the winners, two of which consisted only of students, and the last represented mainly the graduates of the Branch.

Then the awarding itself was held directly. The first place was taken by the “Kepchuk” team heded  by David Ashirov, a student of the URG-17-01 group, who was awarded a certificate of 1 million UZS from a bookstore. The second place - the team of the Branch graduates under the name “P.S.”, whose captain was Doniyor Abdumalikov, who is currently working in the structure of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz”. The third place was won by the “Distress” team consisting of 3-year students of the Branch.

At the end of the event, Professor Salohiddin Zununovich Yunusov noted the merits of our students and graduates, expressed gratitude to LUOK, and expressed hopes for further support for students in their aspirations.
