Our heritage

The immortal gazelles of the great poet, scientist and commander Zakhriddin Muhammad Babur sounded in verses and music during a creative recital at the Branch of the Russian University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M.Gubkin in Tashkent city. The creative project has been implemented by the students themselves under the guidance of the department for working with gifted youth “Marifat va Manaviyat”.

Literary evening in the hall of the university passed with a great enthusiasm. Performance of the national anthem emphasized the status of the event. After the solemn part and the introduction of the leading numbers of the program were replaced, like colorful pictures of a kaleidoscope. After the video lecture, which was shown on a giant screen in the center of the hall, a group of students of academic groups performed with creative sketches. It is noteworthy that each citing of verses was accompanied by the applause of the hall.

As the speakers noted, in his poems Babur raised the issues of morality and spiritual perfection of a person: he appreciates a person, treats him with great respect, highly values human dignity. In his rubai the poet emphasizes the importance of cultivating the best moral qualities in a person. A special place in the poetry of Babur is the theme of the motherland. In his ghazals and especially rubai with an impressive strength, longing for his native land and infinite love for the Fatherland have been conveyed.

Performance with a classic song by Babur’s poems of a student of the UTP-18-02 academic group Kurbanova Farangiz became another colorful moment of the event. A girl with inimitable mastery performed the most complicated work than caused a new squall of applause.

The creative peak of the event was the presentation of Professor Gulnora Mansurova, Doctor of Philosophy. In the deep silence of the hall she sited the immortal gazelles of Babur, like music, in the original language. The main leitmotif of all these verses was in this fleeting and mortal world, the duty of everyone is to leave behind a good memory.
