III Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum

On October 1-7, in three cities of the Russian Federation - Moscow, Astrakhan and Volgograd, events were held as part of the 3rd Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum, organized by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Russian Youth Union, a number of others Russian structures and higher education universities, such as: Astrakhan State Technical University, Volgograd State University and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University).

The delegation included representatives of the executive and legislative branches, the Action Strategy Center, tourism and educational industries, public organizations involved in youth issues, as well as activists, including students of the 4th course of the branch of Russian state university of oil and gas (National Research University) named after Gubkin in Tashkent - Narkulov Dilshod and Zakirov Iskander.

The grand opening of the 3rd Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum took place in the Public Chamber of Moscow. Youth unions of the two countries presented their activities, where similar aspects of work and original projects were noted. So, it was interesting for the Russian side to learn about the work carried out in Uzbekistan within the framework of the «Yoshlar – Kelajagimiz» State Program, designed to ensure the employment of young people and engage them in active entrepreneurial activities. Participants actively discussed the topic of volunteering. It was noted that in Russia there is a developed volunteer movement that unites thousands of young people, together they organize activities to protect the environment, provide assistance to the needy, and also exchange experiences with the younger generation.

Our delegation met with representatives of the regional public association "Uzbekistan" in Astrakhan. Compatriots found a lot of common topics - discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of youth entrepreneurship and innovation. During acquaintance with the activities of the Creative Industry Center of Astrakhan State University, they agreed to create a business incubator in Astrakhan in 2019, where inceptive entrepreneurs of the two countries will be able to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of business, to implement joint projects.

 

In Volgograd took place an exchange of views and accumulated experience in the development of joint information projects.

The forum participants discussed opportunities for developing youth tourism in Russia and Uzbekistan, creating optimal and accessible routes for representatives of the new shift. 
The rector of the Volgograd State University, Vasiliy Tarakanov, spoke of his intention to cooperate with Uzbek universities in the development of youth tourism, the exchange of skills and knowledge between students and teachers, and the improvement of curriculum. The result of the three-day round table was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Volgograd State University and the Samarkand regional hokimiyat represented by the deputy hokim on youth policy issues Rustam Kobilov.

During the week, the delegation of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan communicated with peers united by common ideas in organizing and implementing new projects, with representatives of the executive branch, and heads of departments of Russia, finding mutual understanding and similar positions in the effort to be allies in the reforms.

According to the results of the forum was organized united space for youth dialogue, effective communication tools were created between the younger generation of countries and work sites for this communication.
