Chingiz Aitmatov - life and work

On May 24, 2018 in the Branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NIU) a round table was held on the theme: Chingiz Aitmatov - life and work. The event was attended by the head of the department "Manaviyat v Marifat" H.A. Ruzmetova, teachers of the department "Socio-Humanitarian disciplines" prof. G.Kh.Mansurova, Assoc. Sh.Namazova, students of the groups GR-17-01 and GR-17-02.

Professor G. Kh. Mansurova said that the writer Chingiz Aitmatov was one of the most read, most famous writers of our time. His works have been translated into more than 150 languages. The writer's works are permeated with the ideas of humanism and a huge love for everything living: to people, wild and domestic animals, plants and to the whole planet Earth.

In 1957, Chingiz Aitmatov's novel "Face to Face", "Jamil" was published. Great popularity was brought to the writer novels and novels "And longer than a century lasts a day," "Plough," "Mother's Field," "Farewell, Gyulsary." "The First Teacher," "My Poplar in a Red Kerchief" and others.

On June 10, 2008, Genghis Aitmatov died. Today in our republic special attention is paid to reading books. Such works, which were told at the event, aroused great interest among students.
