Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Tashkent will host 250 people in the 2018/2019 academic year.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued a resolution, which approved a quota for the university for the 2018/2019 academic year.

According to the document, the University will accept 40 people in the fields “Operation and maintenance of gas production facilities, gas condensate and underground storage facilities”, “Exploitation and maintenance of oil production facilities” and “Drilling of oil and gas wells” each.

The faculty "Operation and maintenance of objects of transport and storage of oil, gas and products of processing" will accept 40 people for training, faculty "Construction and repair of pipeline transportation systems" - 40 people.

Twenty five persons will have opportunity to study in the faculty "Technology of geological exploration". The same number of students will be admitted to the Faculty “Economics of Enterprises and Organizations”.
